2014 England Beach Soccer players player of the year award went to Sam Webb.
Sam won this award for the second time and it’s appreciation from his teammates for his outstanding performances. Votes were very close for this award with only 2 votes separating Webb and Scott Lawson in third place, only 1 vote behind Sam was Mitch Day in second position.
Webb is not only a wonderful goalkeeper, he is one of England’s most creative players, he scores goals, is comfortable with the ball at his feet and was a major source for goals with his pin point throwing. Sam will hope to pass 100 caps this season as he has 90 caps with 6 goals.
