The Division B Euro League 2016 is already underway as this weekend sees the first Regular Phase event take place in Moscow, with Moldova, Serbia, Estonia and Kazakhstan in competition.
On Wednesday, Head Coach, Terry Bowes will fly out with his squad as they play in the second Regular Phase event in Sanxenxo, Spain. England have been drawn in a 3 team group that includes Turkey and Andorra.
Last season, England finished 4th in the league, there best ever finishing position, The belief in the camp is that the team has continued to improve. Terry’s young squad, with another season of experience under their belt must have a great chance of achieving one of their goals, namely promotion to Division A of the Euro League.
Their recent performances in Cape Verde against world champions Portugal and Spain showed that they are more than capable of competing against Europe’s elite teams.
